Godly suggestion

I found this in a server where i went to advertise idyllic. (only will tell wich to GMs)



This is a great thing. We should add auto restart in those times (on gabe's hour). And we should have a npc that would show us the time so we would know when to log off. Oh and btw, put @save to work or this will be a fail.

omg thats godly it would really be needed when these things happens liek a crash and none restarts on like 5hrs O......o

There are some people that have glitches and they need a restart. This will be great. And the server froze will be rare

P.S. The server freezes randomly so it doesnt have any effect at all

There's Pros and Cons to everything .

Pros :

1. Helps the server restart automatically when no admin is around to do so .
2. Prevents rollbacks by letting players know before hand .

Cons :

1. Restarts even when there is no problems
2. Causes wastage of time if keeps restarting

Anyways , you can see it as a good or a bad thing .
Its up to you actually .
But after all , Gabe's the one who will do this if he wants .

I think this is a great idea! I've noticed that Gabe and Oesima are often on at the same time, and are thus often off-line during the same times as well, meaning no one is available to do restarts for hours at a time.

I don't really agree that it will waste time. Restarts take what? Two minutes? There's been more instances than I can count on both hands where the server has been down 5 or more hours due to the fact that no one is available to restart the server.

I actually always feel bad when people say they're going to text/call Gabe and wake him up to restart the server. I really think this is a beneficial option for both Gabe and the players.

Maybe cut the number of auto-restarts from 4 (I think it was) to two, during the times when Gabe/Oesima are usually away/asleep?
